The Detroit Pistons are targeting former Toronto Raptors head coach Dwane Casey as their next head coach as the team undergoes a major franchise overhaul.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pistons have the recently fired Raptors coach as a “a primary target” in Detroit’s search.
Casey won the 2018 Michael H. Goldberg NBCA Coach of the Year Award, an award that “recognizes the dedication, commitment and hard work of NBA head coaches”.
