Chicago Bulls Fire Fred Hoiberg

This morning the Chicago Bulls fired head coach Fred Hoiberg. This season has been difficult for the Bulls with a  5-19 start. The Bulls are ranked 14th in the Eastern Conference. They are one game ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are the last team in the division.

Hoiberg had been receiving plenty of criticisms prior to his termination. Sports journalist, television personality, co-host of First Take and host of the Steven A Smith Show, Steven A Smith agrees with the removal of Fred Hoibeg. Steven A Smith mentioned on First Take this morning, that former head coach Fred Hoiberg is “not someone who should be coaching on this level”.

Fred Hoiberg was the head coach at Iowa State before entering the National Basketball Association. Fred Hoilberg has been replaced by his associate head coach Jim Boylen. Boylen will coach the team for the rest of the season. Boylen has to prepare his team for the challenges ahead. Tomorrow, December 4th, the Chicago Bulls take on the Indiana Pacers in Indiana.
