Houston Rockets former number one overall pick Yao Ming graduated college from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
According to Yahoo Sports writer Torrey Hart, Ming enrolled in college in 2011 and earned his degree in Economics at the school of Antai College of Economics and Management.
Ming, 37, became well known back in 2002 because of his 7’5″ frame and coming from China. Yao Ming had a fairly short NBA career (9 years) as he had problems with foot injuries that plagued his last few seasons. He had solid numbers during his playing time scoring 19.0 points a game along with 9.2 rebounds.
Yao Ming got fantastic news in 2016 when he got the call from the NBA and was going to be inducted in the Hall of Fame. Ming was inducted in the Hall of Fame with Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson.
