Lakers Rookie Mo Wagner To Miss Rest Of Summer League

Lakers rookie center Mo Wagner will be sidelined for the rest of NBA Summer League. He was injured during his third Summer League game in Las Vegas. Los Angeles Lakers released a statement on Twitter Wednesday night about his left knee contusion.

Wagner made a splash in his Las Vegas Summer League debut scoring 16.0 points and collecting 8.0 rebounds. In his second game, Wagner struggled while going 4-15 shooting the ball, but he made it up on the defensive end grabbing 14 rebounds.

After watching the Lakers first two Summer League games, I thought Mo Wagner played great. He was fast during transition situations and showed signs that he can play the center position in the NBA.
