The Los Angeles Lakers open the season on October 18th against the Trailblazers in Portland.
NBA writer and insider Kevin O’Connor tweeted this morning and confirmed through his league sources about the Lakers season opener. The new look Lakers with Lebron James, Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson, etc will play in a tough road game at Moda Center.
The Lakers have a hard time playing in Portland in recent years. Since the 2014-15 season, Los Angeles have lost 14 straight games. But this season is quite different because of the caliber of veteran talent they have been able to land in free agency this summer. When the best player in the world joins your team, you always have a chance of turning everything around.
