Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball will play for the first time since having knee surgery back in mid July.
This morning, Lakers Twitter account tweeted that Ball is going to play in tomorrow’s pre-season game in Las Vegas. Ball was limited to just 52 games and was diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his left knee at the end of last season.
Tomorrow night, Ball will play with the second unit and ease his way back onto the court. At this time it’s uncertain whether or not Lonzo will start the regular season or come off the bench. I believe he will come off the bench and work his way back to the starting lineup. But for now, Laker nation is going to see Rajon Rondo start at the point guard position come opening night.
